Traditional and Simplified Chinese are now available
- Choose Traditional or Simplified Chinese in Settings.
- Cafe names and addresses use localized characters or Romanization, with the original Japanese alongside.
- Photo editing, sharing text and news translation support Chinese.
Korean is now available
- Switch between Japanese, English and Korean in Settings.
- Korean pages display cafe names and addresses in Hangul, with Japanese alongside.
- Korean article translations will be added gradually.
Find cafes more easily on the map
- Filter the map and list to cafes with diary entries, favorites or notes.
- Expand the map or select a pin to see its cafe card.
- Cafe cards let you call the cafe, visit its website or open Google Maps.
Save photos and links in cafe notes
- Keep notes for any cafe, even if it is not in your favorites.
- Alongside text, save photos such as menus and links related to the cafe.
More ways to edit your photos
- Enhance food and drinks, add blur or mosaic, adjust brightness, add text and crop your photos.
- You can also edit photos already saved in your diary.
- Edits made on the sharing screen change only the photos you share, leaving your diary originals unchanged.
My Cafe Diary is now available in English

- The English version displays cafe names and addresses primarily in Latin letters.
- Text generated for photo editing and app information in shared posts also support English.

- The album in My records brings together your diary photos and saved collages.
- View photos full screen or open the diary entry they belong to.

- Choose photos from your diary and combine them into one image.
- Pick a simple layout or a creative style, then adjust the position, size and rotation.
- Combine backgrounds with retro or monochrome effects, and save your settings.
Look back on your week or month
- See your diary entries, photos and cafes visited in weekly and monthly reports.
- Compare periods and celebrate your personal bests.
- Share a report image along with a collage of photos from that period.
